Where is Salon Lux located and what are your hours?
Salon Lux is located at 55100 Van Dyke Avenue, Shelby Township, MI 48316. We're open Monday 10AM–7PM, Tuesday–Thursday 10AM–9PM, Friday 9AM–6PM, and Saturday 8AM–4PM. We're closed on Sundays.

What services does salon lux offer?
salon lux offers a full range of services including hair cuts and color, balayage, hair treatments, spa treatments, waxing, makeup, eyelash and brow services, and wedding party packages. Whether you're looking for a signature transformation or a relaxing spa facial, the lux Team has you covered.
Do you offer hair extension services?
Yes, we offer hair extensions priced upon consultation. Several of our stylists are Bellami-certified, including Christina, Kristan, Lauren and Rayan.
Do you offer bridal and wedding party services?
Yes, salon lux accommodates bridal parties both in-salon and on location — just inquire within for details. All in-salon bridal parties include complimentary refreshments, and a deposit is required to secure your date.
Do you offer spa and skincare treatments?
Yes, our spa menu includes facials, mini facials, chemical peels, dermaplaning, and derma sound treatments. Catherine, our licensed Esthetician and MUA, specializes in clinical skincare treatments.
What is your deposit policy for wedding parties?
A $30 deposit is required for each in-salon service for bridal parties. Deposits are due no later than 60 days before the wedding date. Please reach out to us early to secure your preferred date.
Do prices vary by stylist?
Yes, prices may vary depending on the stylist, as well as hair thickness and length. We recommend booking a consultation so we can provide an accurate quote tailored to your needs.
What are your prices for hair services?
Prices vary by stylist, hair thickness, and length. As a general guide, women's cuts start at $55, men's cuts at $28, and full highlights or balayage at $120. For a precise quote, please contact us directly or book a consultation.
How much do color services cost?
Color services such as a retouch start at $71 for all-over color and $120 for a full highlight, balayage, or lowlight. Color correction is priced upon consultation, and natural or ammonia-free color may carry an additional charge.
Who are the owners of Salon Lux?
Salon Lux is co-owned by Nikki, Lisa, and Stacey — all of whom are active stylists behind the chair. Nikki is also an IBE Master Certified Stylist and MUA, bringing a high level of technical expertise to every visit.
What specialties does the Lux Team offer?
The Lux Team includes specialists in blonding, balayage, lived-in color, grey coverage, formal styling, lash extensions, brow services, clinical skincare, and makeup artistry. Many stylists hold Bellami extension certifications, and Nikki is an IBE Master Certified Stylist.
